Yay for Dr. Seuss!!

This week we celebrated Dr. Seuss.  Dr. Seuss is just about

my favorite person that has ever lived!!  His books never

get old and even though I have read them all 100 times I

still laugh out loud when I am reading them to the class.

The one that gets me every time is, What Was I Afraid Of?

Hilarious! In class we of course read many books, played

with Oobleck, and created our very own original Dr. Seuss

characters.  I also created many literacy and math activities

with a Dr. Seuss theme.  These included sentence

formation, real and not real words, consonant digraphs,

poetry, graphing, counting by 10's, patterning, number

words, etc.  I wish I could post my packet on TpT but

unfortunately Seussville will not let teachers post anything

Dr. Seuss related :)  However, here are some pictures to

share!!
