I have been so busy writing new lessons and units and
organizing from the craziness of last week, this is the
first
time I have been able to sit and write a new post! Last
week was the beloved Valentine's Day! I was so busy doing a
craft with the kids during our party I was not able to
take my
own pictures. I asked a very nice parent if she
could send
me some of hers so I will definitely post them as soon as
I get them! We all had so much fun. I had many very
helpful parents come in to help with the activities and of
course, Mrs. Mahoney, who is a superstar! My craft
for the
children to make for their moms was something I found on
pinterest:
The other crafts for
the children were some we found at
oriental trading
and of course sugar cookie decorating and
the timeless
Valentine's Day card mailboxes. It is adorable
to see how
excited the children are when opening their
boxes and giving each
other cards! These kids are the
cutest!
Besides the party and
festivities, our literacy and math
activities were all
Valentine's Day themed for the whole
week. I created
my own Valentine's Day packet that
included word work,
digraphs, wonder words, numbers up to
20, ten frames, and
much more. Available at my TPT store

digital weather unit which I will post on TpT ASAP!! :)
